With most Historic Buildings, maintaining these comes at a price and here at Watlington House we aim the preserve our Heritage.
The History of Watlington House is fascinating journey and equally important to everyone with some important finds during the early restoration now being retained in Reading Museum which is why it becomes important and why we must try to preserve our past.
Watlington House boasts a large Garden area surrounded by a Flint Wall, the aim we hope is to bring the garden to its former glory with free access we hope being given to the public. As with most things this will cost money, so with your help we can get this back and share this with everyone.
To assist we aim to engage to public by raising the profile of the House and arrange for open days so people can learn as much as we can and share this and view the wonderful building that stands here today.
Anyone can be part of this by making a financial donation to help with preservation work or by sharing what knowledge you have.
