We rent out up to 17 car parking spaces in the rear gardens to local office workers and local residents, who find parking in the congested narrow streets difficult, local office workers and visitors to town. The income generated assists us to maintain the house and the garden.
Users of the Garden Hall should only assume there are 4-5 places available. They should brief their guests accordingly and ensure any of their parkers to not block other users in / park in the centre.
There are two ways of booking a space
Your Parking Space App. Your Search Results | YourParkingSpace The rate is £7 per day or £130 per month (ink booking fee). To manage parking congestion only 9 spaces are let this way.
Pay direct to our bank on a monthly basis. The charge this with effect from February 2025 is February 2025 to £100 per month, £1,200 per year. This is considerably cheaper than via Your Parking space. If you wish to take this option please email the Hon Sec for the house (HonSec.WatHouse@outlook.com) and you will be guided how to set up your payment.
Access to the car park is via the double garden gates on South Street opposite number 71 South Street. Post Code RG1 4RA. You will need a gate code to get in.
